Note the Canadian spelling. This one is literally my Canadian sister-friend Wendy's favourite song. It's about the road trips of my youth, where we might just sing at the top of our lungs over large stretches of highway, or maybe tell stories. Wendy and I once drove to Syracuse, New York to see the man who I was eventually to marry play in his math rock band, The Secession Movement. That relationship was long distance for four years, so David and I shared many a highway mile together in those years and in the 11 years since we married.
